Ghana Green Pepper Sauce

Ingredients

  • 8 Green habanero pepper
  • 1 large  onion
  • 1  clove garlic
  • 1 tsp Stock cube/ pinch of salt
  • 4-5 spring onions chopped
  • 1-2 cups vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Wash all the vegetables and chop them
  • Blend all ingredients together with water in a blender.
  • Pour your vegetable oil into a frying pan and then heat for about 5 minutes.
  • Pour the mixture into your heated oil and then stir
  • Cover it and let it cook for about 5 minutes
  • Add seasoning or salt to taste and continuously stir it so it doesn't get burnt
  • After about 10 minutes, your sauce will thicken and the oil will settle at the top, which indicates that it's ready.
  • At this stage, you can let it cook a little longer to ensure all the moisture is out or you can take it off the stove.
