Overnight Banana Chia Oats

Breakfast as we know is very important but most people skip breakfast on a daily basis because they are either running late or they feel it’s time-consuming.

So one way to ensure that you don’t miss breakfast is to meal prep. You can either do this on Sundays, before the start of the week. Or meal prep every evening for the next morning.

One easy breakfast to meal prep is overnight oats. So I’m sharing one of my favorite overnight oats recipe, which is overnight banana chia oats. This is a healthy breakfast recipe that is easy to make and packed with healthy goodies.

This healthy breakfast recipe takes just 10 minutes or less to put together. And in the morning you will have your healthy breakfast ready.

Overnight banana chia oats recipe

All you need for this overnight oats are, milk, banana, chia seeds, honey, chocolate shavings and of course oats.

The chia seeds is one of the reasons why this is a healthy breakfast. Chia seeds are packed with nutrients for the body.

Chia seeds contain mostly fiber which is great for your gut health. It is also packed with proteins and omega 3, which means that chia seeds are good for the heart and your bone health. You can easily get chia seeds here.

To make your overnight banana chia oats, add oats , milk and chia seeds in a jar and mix well. Refrigerate overnight for about 6 to 8 hours. When you are ready to eat, top it with some banana slices, and chocolate shavings and drizzle with honey.
