1. Activated Charcoal Brush

Activated charcoal is a world wide known home remedy one can use to whiten the teeth. This remedy whiten the teeth by absorbing the substance that stained the teeth. Making the teeth bright and clean.


Mix the activated charcoal with water to form a paste. Then use the paste with your tooth brush to brush your teeth for about two minutes. After that rinse with water. If you have sensitive teeth, then use a soft tooth brush.

2. Lemon Juice And Baking Soda Paste

Lemon is very high in citric acid which serve as a cleaning agent for the teeth. The citric acid clears all the stains on the teeth leaving the teeth clean and bright. Baking soda is a gentle polish which helps eliminate stain accumulated on and within the teeth. It is one of the softest way to remove stain from the surface of the teeth.


Mix baking soda and lemon juice to form a thick paste. With your tooth brush, use the paste to brush your teeth for about two minutes and rinse your mouth with water.

3. Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse

Apple Cider Vinegar contains minerals like acetic acid and enzymes which helps eliminate germs and bacteria in the mouth. The acetic acid also helps to remove stains from the teeth, leaving your teeth white.


Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water and use the mixture to rinse your mouth.

4. Try Oil Pulling

It is the simplest remedy of all the remedies and also an ancient remedy. It is simply use to remove dirt and stains from the teeth.  This remedy helps reduce gum disease as well as help improve oral health and well being. You can use coconut oil or olive oil for this.


Put one tablespoon of oil in your mouth and swish it in your mouth for about two minutes. Then spit out the oil and brush your teeth with toothpaste.

5. Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide is a natural bleach which helps remove stains as well as kills germs from the mouth. It also helps maintain oral hygiene and whiten the teeth.


Mix equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and water. Put the solution in your mouth and swish it around for about two minutes. After that spit it out and rinse your mouth with water. It is advisable to use the 3% solution hydrogen peroxide.
