A common phrase heard in our house is “put more layers on if you’re cold!” My mom is the queen I guess you could say of putting off turning on the heat in the winter for as long as possible. This past winter I decided for once in my life 😉 to listen to her and think more about what these simple choices are doing to the eco system. I bet that if we look into our childhoods, our parents were directing us in the right direction this whole time … now it’s our time to follow!
