4 Simple but Mouth-Watering Fresh Fish Recipes

Fish are the bounty of the sea and too often you get them frozen and pre-packaged rather than still smelling of the sea. Fish contain many essential vitamins and minerals the body cannot exist without.

Eating more fish has been associated with reduced risk of heart disease thanks to Omega-3 fatty acids.

The same fatty acids have also been linked with improving brain function, preventing disorders, such as dementia, and lowering symptoms, like memory loss and reduced cognitive function. Vitamin B-12 improves your immune system and rejuvenates your body.

However, you may be wondering why should you consider eating more fresh fish than frozen? What are the benefits? And what kind of recipes can you try that will make it easier to cook fresh fish?

Why Cook with Fresh Fish?

According to some experts, there’s little difference between fresh fish and frozen. However, there are still some benefits for learning fishing tips and cooking the spoils of your fishing charters along the Gold Coast yourself.

Freezing fish can affect the way it tastes. Fresh fish has a delightful salty tang.

Preparing fish and cleaning it takes skill to manage. Scaling, gutting and packing away fresh fish for later consumption are impressive skills that you could learn.

Frozen fish doesn’t look as appetizing as fresh. Notably, thawing out frozen fish makes it mushy and a little gray, unlike the firm and vital looking flesh of fresh caught fish.
